Hiram Lock & Key and Stephen’s Locksmith Service are owned and operated by myself, Stephen Hartdegen.  I have been in the service business for better than 30 years.  Early on, I worked in and managed retail auto parts stores where I learned the importance of customer satisfaction.  Directly previous to becoming a Locksmith, I worked in the computer industry as a computer consultant.  With the help of friends and family, I was able to turn the consulting business into an entity of my own.  This is where I learned the business skills necessary to become self-employed, which led to the creation of Stephen’s Locksmith Service.  Shortly after entering the Locksmith trade, my Hiram Lock & Key identity was created to solidify a local identity.  Since then, customer needs have given me the opportunity to service the entire Atlanta Metro area (ITP and OTP), as well as many outlying areas, as far north as Calhoun to as far South as Griffin, as far west as Carrollton to as far east as Covington.

Hiram Lock & Key and Stephen’s Locksmith Service have been in business since serving its first customer in February of 2001.  Customer satisfaction and customer service are the number one priority of this business.  Even though it is essential for a business to generate income to thrive and grow, I am very aware that this will not happen without satisfied customers whom wish to utilize my services in a repeat fashion, as well as recommend my business to others.

We are currently a mobile service and specialize in commercial and residential services.  I personally stand behind all work performed, either by myself or other locksmith’s who are contracted for specialties.  My customer base is broad, and I still retain customer loyalty from people I have worked for since the company’s creation.
